It has enriched Munich\u2018s cinema landscape with a further, very important field that cannot be ignored in a modern urban society &#8211; an increasingly important topic for me in all areas of cultural creation and life. I am therefore pleased that the QFFM is now also integrated into the Munich film landscape through Filmstadt M\u00fcnchen e.V.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"fontstyle2\">The QFFM is a place where both cineastes and the LGBTIQ* community can come together. With their film selection the team questions and deconstructs stereotypes of all kinds and advocates for an intersectional view on media representations. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"fontstyle2\">This year, they faced special challenges due to the Corona crisis. The QFFM team succeeded in being the first queer festival in Germany to also offer a digital version. This means that the entire community, as well as all interested parties beyond Munich, can now participate in<br \/>\nthe programme without risk. With the City Kinos in the Sonnenstra\u00dfe, the festival will again have a centre in an arthouse cinema that has just received an award from the city.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Since its inception, the QFFM has developed steadily and so in 2020 we can expect a diverse and exciting spectrum of the best queer films of the year as well as numerous inspiring discussions, panels and talks.
