Touching drama about the invisible things that make life worth living.

Ten-year-old Gloria spends a lot of time in the hospital because her mother Antônia is a nurse. When Sofia, who is the same age, accompanies her great-grandmother Bisa, who has dementia, to the hospital, Gloria finally finds a playmate. The girls dream about what they want to do outside the hospital, while their mothers also become friends. When Bisa is discharged, they all decide to go to her home village together, care for her there, and spend the summer holidays with her.

With her feature film debut, Rafaela Camelo has created a sensitive, feminist narrative about an extraordinary friendship and an open, childlike view of a world full of goodbyes and poignant insights.
