We are extremely pleased to be able to fulfill a long-cherished dream this year: For the first time, the QFFM Jury Award, donated by ARRI Rental, will be awarded. The decision will be made by a jury of renowned experts. Which of the eight competition films will emerge as the winner will be announced on the final day. The team of the winning film will be immortalized on our newly created championship trophy and can look forward to prize money. We wish the jury the very best for this responsible, difficult task.

Lara Keilbart arbeitet als freischaffende Journalistin, Podcasterin und Speakerin in Berlin. Ihre thematischen Schwerpunkte bilden dabei Queerness und Vielfalt, Feminismus und Sexismus, Anti-Faschismus und Storytelling. Zusammen mit dem freien Games-Journalisten Andreas Müller betreibt sie Polygamia, ein digitales Magazin für Kulturkritik, inklusive Podcast.

Lara Keilbart works as a freelance journalist, podcaster and speaker in Berlin. Her focus is on queerness and diversity, feminism and sexism, anti-fascism and storytelling. She and Andreas Müller, a freelance games journalist, run Polygamia, a digital culture criticism magazine.

Sailesh ist ein*e Poet*in, Filmemacher*in und Forscher*in aus Berlin. Als ehemalige*r Stipendiat*in des German Chancellor Fellowship Program wurden viele von Saileshs Projekten in der NY Times, in The Hindu, Die Zeit, PBS News Hour, Gal-Dem und weiteren Publikationen veröffentlicht und erwähnt. Saileshs Performances, Filme und schriftliche Arbeiten wurden zudem im Schwulen Museum, auf der Volksbühne Berlin, im DADDY Magazin, im Literaturhaus Berlin sowie im British Film Institute ausgestellt und aufgeführt.

Sailesh is a poet, filmmaker and researcher based in Berlin, Germany. A former German Chancellor’s Fellow, many of their projects have been featured in the NYTimes, The Hindu, Die Zeit, PBS NewsHour, Gal-Dem among others. Their performance, film, and written work has also been exhibited at the Schwules Museum, Volksbühne Berlin, DADDY Magazine, Literaturhaus Berlin, and the British Film Institute.

Paulina Lorenz ist Mitbegründerin des deutschen Filmkollektivs Jünglinge, das sich mit queer-feministischen und postmigrantischen Perspektiven in Film, Fernsehen und Populärkultur beschäftigt. Zusammen mit Faraz Shariat und Raquel Dukpa schreibt und produziert sie Filme und Serien, wie den 2020 mit dem Teddy-Filmpreis ausgezeichneten Film Futur Drei / No Hard Feelings (Produzentin und Co-Autorin) oder Druck (2020-21), die deutsche Adaption der norwegischen Jugendserie Skam (Episodenautorin).

Paulina Lorenz co-founded the German film collective Jünglinge, which explores queer-feminist and postmigrant perspectives in film, television and popular culture. Alongside Faraz Shariat and Raquel Dukpa she writes and produces feature and episodic work, such as the 2020 Teddy feature award winner Futur Drei / No Hard Feelings (producer and co-writer) or Druck (2020-21), the German adaption of the Norwegian youth series Skam (episode writer).

Der in Frankreich geborene Pierre Emö lebt in Berlin, wo er sich in den Bereichen Film, Theater, Performance und Modeling bewegt. Er spielte für Yann Gonzalez in Knife + Heart, Bruce La Bruce in It Is Not The Porngrapher That Is Perverse… und trat letztes Jahr in Henrika Kulls Film Bliss auf. Auf der Bühne performte er mit der Gruppe Nilsson Eicke. Er war Teil der Ausstellung Fenster zum Klo: Public Toilets & Private Affairs von Marc Martin.
