Following in the footsteps of their predecessors, the queer group at HFF Munich has curated a short film evening featuring queer HFF films from the past.
For the short film programme „Crossing Timelines Vol. II“, the queer group at HFF Munich set out to find films that told queer stories before the current generation of students. They found short films made at HFF before 2010 that deal with queer themes in very different ways.
The evening is intended to provide an opportunity to immerse oneself in the cinematic past and reflect on how queer stories were told back then and what visual and linguistic spaces were available for this purpose.
Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to engage in conversation and discuss the impact these films have had to this day and how we would like to tell stories today.
