Fictional Realities invites you into the permeable spaces between identity and social norms. The short films interweave intimate experiences, courageous interventions, and imaginary worlds in which love, loss, and resistance collide. They explore where the boundaries of existence lie— and how queerness itself can be lived powerfully even in the midst of political oppression, ecological disasters, and private tragedies.
Between documentary clarity, experimental storytelling, humorous and ironic exaggeration, and atmospheric intensity, visions emerge that are both fictional and frighteningly real. This program opens up worlds — and invites us to enter them together.
