Wir freuen uns sehr, dass Pali (pppanik) unser diesjähriges Poster und Trailermotiv gestaltet hat.

Ich bin Pali, ich bin eine queere, nonbinäre Künstler*in. Unter dem Künstler*innennamen pppanik arbeite ich in Berlin und München. Meine Praxis beschäftigt sich hauptsächlich mit dem Dialog zwischen Natur und digitalen Technologien. Neben meiner künstlerischen Praxis mache ich Tutorials über generative Kunst, um in der cis-heteronormativ geprägten Tech-Welt Gemeinschaft und gegenseitige Unterstützung zu fördern und aktiv gegen Gatekeeping vorzugehen.

Was inspirierte Dich zum diesjährigen Festivalpostermotiv?
Natur und Fluidität im Kontrast.

Was bedeutet für dich der Begriff Queer?
Queer bedeutet für mich sowohl Identität und Zugehörigkeit als auch politischer Kampf.

Wie arbeitest Du am liebsten?
Try and Error: am liebsten arbeite ich nicht linear, ohne ein spezielles Ziel zu verfolgen und sehe den Prozess als das eigentliche Werk an.

Dein queerer Lieblingsfilm?
Die Taschendiebin.

We are very pleased that Pali (pppanik) designed our poster and trailer motif for this year.

I am Pali, a queer, non-binary artist. Under the artist name pppanik, I work in Berlin and Munich. My practice primarily deals with the dialogue between nature and digital technologies. Alongside my artistic work, I create tutorials on generative art to foster community and mutual support in the cis-heteronormative tech world, actively combating gatekeeping.

What inspired you for this year’s festival poster motif?
Nature and fluidity in contrast.

What does the term Queer mean to you?
Queer means both identity and belonging as well as political struggle for me.

How do you prefer to work?
Try and Error: I prefer to work non-linearly, without pursuing a specific goal, and view the process as the actual artwork.

Your favorite queer film?
The Handmaiden.
